How to claim your Generation 0's on Flow

Back in the demo-days, we worked on the Ethereum blockchain, since then we've come a long way - We've moved to Flow. With the move to Flow it's important all your Gen-0 'mons from the Ethereum blockchain follow along with you!

Eligibility

Firstly and most importantly is to ensure your 'mons are eligible for transfer. These are the requirements in order to ensure eligibility

Chainmon must be in the block number 8606493. If this is moved we can not transfer them.
Chainmon must be in an Ethereum address that is holding them in block 8606493.
Chainmon must have the "isTradeable" flag show as "true".

Checking Your Monsters

The first step to moving to Flow is to check and collect your monsters from our old Ethereum contract. To check which Monsters you have on our old system, follow these steps:

Select number 15 "tokensOfOwner" from the list and enter your Ethereum address You should see a list of Monster IDs as shown here:

This helpdesk article will present you with an easy step-by-step guide on migrating your collection to IMX.

Step one: Prepare your IMX wallet.

To begin, head over to the IMX marketplace in your web browser.

Since we're a very diverse game which yields the benefits of crypto, it has lead to some confusion from the non-crypto-informed player-base. This is perfectly fine though as we attempt to limit the amount of crypto involvement you'll need, making it so if you so wish you'll never see anything crypto related in the game.

This is important to us as we see our self not as a crypto game, but rather a game overall which so happens to harness the power of the blockchain.

NFTs

So we're going to assume you know nothing about NFTs to make this as informative as possible. But it's important for you to remember, although NFTs are utilized, if you so wish you can play without ever needing to know what an NFT is.

What is an island? What makes this so special?

An island is a physical location on the map. There's 3,000 of them in total, and that's all there will ever be. You'll have the opportunity to not just own a permanent placement on the map of Ancora, but also to customise the island. The island can be visited by other players. They can all admire your furniture, houses, plants, and much more.

All players will have access to a virtual home, but only 3,000 of them will ever be physical islands available on the real map!

Game doesn't load (Cannot download)

Game errors when downloading

We've had a few reports of the game not loading (staying on 0% at the downloads screen). We've identified several underlying causes for this and the solutions are as follows These steps can also help to fix other issues, if you've been sent this guide, please don't dismiss it because the title doesn't match your issue.

This issue is an example of one possible error you might see, there's various similar errors though for which the fix can be found below.

The first and foremost approach to fixing this issue is the good old "give it another try". But before we go ahead and turn it off and on again, let's kill two birds with one stone and remove the old files, removing the possibility of any conflicts.

Navigate to the following folder in your file explorer: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Unity\B-Side Games_Chainmonsters
Select all the files/folders in that directory (if any) with CTRL+A, then delete them.
Navigate to this folder in your file explorer: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\B-Side Games\Chainmonsters
Once again, select all files/folders with CTRL+A and delete them too.
Head to the Epic Games Store, uninstall and re-install the game.
